Sentinel Action Fund, RSLC PAC, and Keystone Renewal PAC Congratulate Senator-Elect Dave McCormick

WASHINGTON – Sentinel Action Fund, the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) PAC, and Keystone Renewal PAC congratulate Senator-Elect Dave McCormick (R-PA) on his historic victory in Pennsylvania.

In January, the Republican State Leadership Committee PAC (RSLC PAC), Keystone Renewal PAC, and The Sentinel Action Fund (SAF) announced the largest Republican statewide mail-in-ballot initiative in Pennsylvania’s history. This groundbreaking $16 Million joint investment positioned Republicans to counterbalance the Democrat’s dominance in mail-in voting, not only in the elections this fall, but in future election cycles.

The goal of our effort was twofold: first, we aimed to expand our base of Republican voters and bring new voters to the table in Pennsylvania by targeting low-propensity Republicans with our vote-by-mail efforts. We also sought to increase the Republican share of the vote-by-mail votes and grow the Republican permanent vote-by-mail list. Second, we aimed to encourage Republican voters to embrace the convenience of mail-in ballots ahead of Election Day and to dispel concerns among Republican voters about mail-in voting by emphasizing its safety, security, and ease of use in Pennsylvania’s electoral process.

With a small margin of victory in Pennsylvania, it is clear this work, along with the strength of Senator-Elect McCormick’s campaign, made a substantial impact in the Republican victory and larger Senate majority.

“Congratulations to Senator-Elect Dave McCormick on his historic win in Pennsylvania. With a Republican Senate majority and President Trump back in the White House, conservatives have the ability to deliver on policies to secure the border, cut spending, unleash American energy, and protect U.S. interests abroad. The Sentinel Action Fund was proud to work alongside RSLC PAC and Keystone Renewal PAC to build the absentee-early vote election infrastructure needed to chip away at the Democrats’ long-standing mail-in voting advantage in Pennsylvania. By bringing new and low-propensity voters out to the polls, this put McCormick in the most aggressive early position–without cannibalizing the Election Day voter–that any Republican has been over the last two cycles, and ultimately helped secure a crucial win in a tight race.” – Jessica Anderson, President Sentinel Action Fund

“Congratulations to Senator-Elect Dave McCormick, President Trump, and Republicans across the commonwealth on their historic night. Every component of this unprecedented effort proved critical in delivering historic victories at every level. Together, with the Sentinel Action Fund, Keystone Renewal PAC, and Republicans throughout the commonwealth we energized new and low-propensity voters, giving Senator-elect McCormick and the entire GOP a critical edge and paving the way for Republican success for cycles to come.” – Dee Duncan, President RSLC

BACKGROUND:

  • The Sentinel Action Fund, Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) and Keystone Renewal PAC previously announced a historic initiative and eight-figure investment to turn out low-propensity voters via absentee ballot in Pennsylvania.
  • With a total investment of over $16 million, the coalition’s work has produced over 1 million door knocks and sent 23 rounds of mail. The digital campaign across the Commonwealth has achieved over 105 million impressions. Additionally, SkipTheLinePA.vote, our website inviting voters to join the 2024 mail-in voting list, has garnered nearly 500,000 pageviews from 339,000 unique visitors. Additionally, the coalition engaged in live calls, P2P messaging, and direct one-to-one texts with a trained team to provide real-time responses to help people vote.
  • By using these channels to encourage voters to embrace mail-in voting, these efforts brought new or low-propensity Republican voters into the fold and helped cut the Democrat’s previous early vote lead by half.
  • As part of the initiative to educate voters about how they can request absentee ballots, the coalition launched SkipTheLinePA.vote, a website designed to give voters the tools and information they need to make their voices heard early.
